21 people injured in bus accident at Kagbeni



BENI: Twenty-one people were injured in a bus accident at Kagbeni of Baragung Muktichhetra rural municipality-4 in Mustang this morning.

The bus (Province-3-01-006 Kha 622), carrying college students of Kathmandu, met with an accident while returning to Jomsom from Muktinath.

According to the District Police Office, Mustang, the bus was carrying 30 people including the driver.

All the injured are receiving treatment at Mustang District Hospital and their health condition is normal, said Deputy Superintendent of Police, Bhoj Raj Pandey.

As per the preliminary investigation, the bus overturned on the road due to brake failure, said police. Kagbeni-Muktinath road, which was blocked for around three hours after the accident, has now resumed, he added.
