Sudurpaschim CM Sodari seeking vote of confidence on May 3



DHANGADHI: Dirgha Bahadur Sodari, the Chief Minister of Sudurpaschim Province, is slated to seek a vote of confidence on Friday (May 3).

This decision emerged from a joint meeting of ruling coalition parties held at the office of the Chief Minister and Council of Ministers on Tuesday morning.

Man Bahadur Dhami, leader of the Maoist Central Province Parliamentary Party, stated that during the meeting, it was agreed that the Chief Minister would undergo the vote of confidence in the Provincial Assembly on May 3.

Furthermore, an agreement was reached to allocate an additional ministry to the Nagarik Unmukti Party.

As per the agreement, Nagarik Unmukti Party has got the Ministry of Land Management, Agriculture, and Cooperatives.

Representatives from various parties, including UML, participated in the meeting.

Sodari assumed the role of Chief Minister with the support from CPN-UML, Maoist Center, Nagarik Unmukti Party, among others.
