KATHMANDU: Nepal is currently experiencing a blend of westerly and local winds, influencing its weather dynamics.

As of Tuesday morning, there’s a discernible shift in the hilly regions of the country, while the weather remains predominantly clear elsewhere, as reported by the Weather Forecasting Division.

This afternoon, partly cloudy conditions are expected to persist in the hilly areas of the Koshi, Gandaki, and Karnali provinces.

In the hilly zones of Koshi, there’s a possibility of light rain accompanied by thunder and lightning.

Moreover, the Division has forecasted a chance of light snowfall at isolated spots in the high hilly and Himalayan areas of Koshi, Gandaki, and Karnali provinces.

During the afternoon, thunderstorms are likely in some locations of Lumbini, Madhesh, Sudurpaschim, and Koshi provinces, with a few spots experiencing them across the rest of the areas.

Tonight, partly cloudy conditions are anticipated to persist in the hilly areas of Koshi, Gandaki, and Karnali provinces.

The Division has warned of potential storms in select areas of Lumbini, Madhesh, Sudurpaschim, and Koshi provinces.
