Top leaders including PM Dahal, UML Chair Oli and NC President Deuba meet in Baluwatar

Discuss completion of peace process and Constitutional Council meeting



KATHMANDU: Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ convened discussions with CPN-UML Chair KP Oli and Nepali Congress (NC) President Sher Bahadur Deuba at the Prime Minister’s official residence in Baluwatar.

Prime Minister Dahal extended invitations to the coalition partner UML Chair Oli and the leader of the main opposition party NC President Deuba to deliberate on matters concerning the peace process and the Constitutional Council.

Previously, the Prime Minister had engaged in separate discussions with Oli and Deuba.

The session is anticipated to address pressing issues including the finalization of pending matters related to the peace process, the convening of the Constitutional Council meeting, and the NC’s obstruction in the parliament.

Prime Minister Dahal has called a Constitutional Council meeting for tomorrow morning.

The Constitutional Council meeting scheduled for Sunday aims to facilitate appointments to various constitutional bodies.
