KATHMANDU: The national flower of Nepal, the Rhododendron, is currently in full bloom in the picturesque Ghodepani area.
Situated at an altitude of 3,200 meters above sea level, Ghodepani falls within the renowned Annapurna Trekking Circuit, attracting tourists from around the globe.
The Rhododendron forest in Annapurna Rural Municipality-6 is recognized as the largest of its kind in the Gandaki Province, boasting a stunning array of colors and species.
Among the 32 types of rhododendron found in Nepal, 16 distinct species flourish in this enchanting region.
