APF dominates as Sudurpaschim restricted to 87 runs with Chandan Ram’s five-wicket haul

KATHMANDU: In a compelling match of the Prime Minister Cup Men’s National Tournament 2024, the Armed Police Force Club (APF) showcased their prowess by restricting Sudurpaschim Province to a mere 87 runs.

Opting to bowl first after winning the toss, APF’s strategic decision paid off as they successfully limited Sudurpaschim Province to 87 runs in 16.2 overs.

Chandan Ram emerged as the star performer, delivering a sensational 5-wicket haul against Sudurpaschim Province, conceding 51 runs in seven overs.

Additionally, Bhuvan Karki made a significant contribution by taking three wickets for the team.

In Sudurpaschim Province’s batting lineup, Narayan Joshi managed to score 31 runs, while Khadak Bohora added 24 runs to the scoreboard.

Despite their efforts, the team faced a formidable challenge from the disciplined bowling attack of APF.
