NEPSE index rises by 46 points

KATHMANDU: The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) index on Tuesday increased by 46.69 points, reaching a total of 2692.05 points.

On Tuesday, shares worth NPR 6.12 billion were traded, with a total of 13.3 million shares changing hands.

Today, 221 companies saw an increase in share prices, while 17 experienced declines, and 5 maintained the same price.

Notably, three companies hit a positive circuit: Saptakoshi Development Bank, Sanima GIC Insurance, and Kutheli Bukhari Small Hydropower, each increasing by 10 percent.

Additionally, Corporate Development Bank shares rose by 9.98 percent, while Samaj Laghubitta shares increased by 9.18 percent.

Overall, shares of only a few companies decreased by less than 2 percent today.
