CAN announces monthly salaries for provincial players



KATHMANDU: The Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN) has announced that it will provide a monthly salary to provincial-level players.

During a meeting held on Thursday, CAN decided to offer a monthly salary of Rs 15,000 to five players—two female and three male—from each of the seven provinces. This new salary scheme will take effect from September 1.

The association will transfer the funds to each province, and the respective provincial cricket associations will enter into agreements with the players.

Additionally, CAN has decided to award Rs 300,000 each to the Nepali cricket players and the head coach, as well as Rs 150,000 to the assistant staff, who represented Nepal in the ICC T20 World Cup.

KATHMANDU: The Nepal Electricity Authority (NEA) has announced a scheduled
