Special Court orders detention of Bikal Paudel for inquiry



KATHMANDU: The Special Court has directed the detention of former Executive Director of the Security Printing Press, Bikal Paudel, in connection with a money laundering case.

A bench of Justices Khushi Prasad Tharu, Tejanarayan Singh Rai, and Muraribabu Shrestha issued the order to detain Paudel for further inquiry.

The Commission for the Investigation of Abuse of Authority lodged a case against Paudel for alleged illegal acquisition, which was registered at the Special Court on May 22.
