UML’s Suhang leads by 4,986 votes in Ilam-2

ILAM: Vote counting is currently underway for the by-election in Ilam-2.

In the latest tally, Suhang Nembang of CPN-UML has extended his lead garnering 13,900 votes.

Following closely behind is Dambar Khadka of Nepali Congress with 8,914 votes.

The gap between them has widened to 4,986 votes.

Independent candidate Dakendra Thegim, securing the third position, has garnered 8,285 votes.

Similarly, Milan Limbu of Rastriya Swatantra Party, in fourth place, has received only 1,945 votes.

Notably, independent candidate Thegim clinched the lead in Mai Municipality-6, as well as in Mangsebung-5.

Votes:

Suhang Nemwang: 13,900

Dambar Khadka: 8,914

Dakendra Thegim: 8,285

Milan Limbu: 1,945
