ILAM: The vote counting for the by-election in Ilam-2 is underway with CPN-UML candidate Suhang Nemwang steadily widening his lead.

As per the latest updates, Nemwang has garnered 11,619 votes, solidifying his position at the forefront.

Following closely behind is Nepali Congress contender Dambar Khadka, who has secured 7,659 votes, marking a difference of 3,960 between the two.

Meanwhile, Dakendra Thegim, an independent candidate advocating for identity-based issues, holds the third position with 7,452 votes.

Rastriya Swatantra Party’s Milan Limbu has garnered 1,596 votes so far.
