One killed in Bhojpur jeep accident

BHOJPUR: One woman died in a jeep accident in Bhojpur’s Amchok Rural Municipality on Monday.

A Bolero jeep bearing registration number Ko 1 Ja 2617, en route from Maiutar to Balankha, veered off the road and plunged into the bank of Dudhkoshi River.

One person, identified as 27-year-old Runga Rai from Amchok Rural Municipality-10, died on the spot, according to the police.

The injured individuals were rescued and transported to Ghopa in Sunsari’s Dharan for treatment.
