UML’s Suhang still solidifying dominance in Ilam-2

Suhang leading by 2,257 votes



ILAM: In the latest vote tally, CPN-UML contender Suhang Nemwang has continued to maintain a significant lead, securing 8,088 votes so far.

Suhang has maintained a commanding position ahead of Nepali Congress candidate Dambar Khadka, who has garnered 5,831 votes.

The margin between the UML and Nepali Congress contenders stands at 2,257 votes.

Independent candidate Dakendra Thegim holds the third position with 4,430 votes, followed by Milan Limbu from the Rastriya Swatantra Party with 1,198 votes.

The by-elections in Ilam-2 were conducted on Saturday.
