Ilam vote count: UML’s Suhang solidifies dominance

ILAM: In the latest vote tally, CPN-UML contender Suhang Nemwang has continued to maintain a significant lead, securing 7,677 votes so far.

Suhang has maintained a commanding position ahead of Nepali Congress candidate Dambar Khadka, who has garnered 5,395 votes.

The margin between the UML and Nepali Congress contenders stands at 2,282 votes.

Independent candidate Dakendra Thegim holds the third position with 4,058 votes, followed by Milan Limbu from the Rastriya Swatantra Party with 1,162 votes.

The by-elections in Ilam-2 were conducted on Saturday.
