KMC sets deadline for private schools to adopt Nepali identity in names



KATHMANDU: The Kathmandu Metropolitan City (KMC) has issued a one-month ultimatum for private schools within its jurisdiction to modify their names.

The metropolis has instructed schools to adopt names that reflect Nepali identity or embody Nepaliness, in accordance with the provided guidelines.

It has emphasized that the current names of private schools are not compliant with these guidelines and has mandated the changes to be completed within the specified one-month period.

Additionally, KMC has directed public schools being rented to submit details of their properties within seven days.
