KAILALI: A 60-year-old man has been arrested for allegedly raping a 14-year-old girl in Kailali.
Asharam Chaudhary, who lives in Tikapur municipality-1, has been arrested on the charge of raping a girl, according to District Police Office, Kailali.
The police arrested him from his home last night.
It is alleged that Chaudhary took the girl to the Kailasheshwar community forest near the village and raped her a few days ago.
The police arrested him on the basis of a complaint filed by the girl’s parents.
According to the police, further investigation is ongoing regarding this incident.
