19-year-old youth arrested with 51 kg of Marijuana in Dhankuta



DHANKUTA: A 19-year-old individual, Prajjwal Limbu, a resident of Dharan sub-metropolitan city-11, was apprehended by the police at Bhedetar Chowk of Sangurigarhi rural municipality-6 in Dhankuta in a drug bust.

The arrest, which took place on Sunday afternoon, revealed that Limbu was in possession of approximately 51 kg of marijuana.

The police, stationed at the Bhedetar area police office, made the arrest after discovering the illicit substance hidden in the engine compartment of the vehicle with license plate number Ko 2 Ha 4042.

The youth, along with the confiscated marijuana, was taken into custody, highlighting law enforcement’s efforts to combat drug trafficking in the region.
