PM Cup Cricket: Sudurpaschim faces off against Army; Gandaki takes on Nepal Police today

KATHMANDU: Two matches are scheduled for today in the Prime Minister’s Cup men’s one-day national cricket tournament.

Sudurpaschim Province will go head-to-head with Tribhuvan Army Club, and Gandaki Province will face off against Nepal Police Club.

The clash between Sudurpaschim and Tribhuvan Army Club will take place at TU Cricket Ground in Kirtipur, kicking off at 9:30 am.

Sudurpaschim currently occupies the fifth spot with 8 points after participating in 6 matches in the ongoing tournament.

On the other hand, Tribhuvan Army Club holds the fourth position with 10 points, having played 7 games.

Simultaneously, the match between Gandaki and Nepal Police will commence at Mulpani Cricket Ground, also at 9:30 am.

Gandaki Province, with 4 points from 7 games, is positioned in eighth place in the tournament standings. Nepal Police leads the table with an impressive 12 points from 6 games.

A total of 10 teams, including seven provinces, are participating in the competition, showcasing the cricket prowess across the nation.
