Cooperation needed to revitalize economy, Chief Minister Lama says



CHITWAN: Chief Minister of Bagmati Province Bahadur Singh Lama has said that cooperation of all sectors and their proactive role was needed to make the country’s economy vibrant.

Addressing the 33rd annual general assembly of Chitwan Industry Association on Saturday, the Chief Minister said that industry, trade, business and commerce should be vibrant to revitalize the nation’s economy.

He pointed out that the country’s economy weakened gradually as we failed to make effective investment in agriculture and added that the real farmers should get chance to utilize the budget allocated for them.

Lama shared that investment was being made for employment generation, giving skill-oriented training and other areas to control the foreign migration of youths.
On the occasion, he expressed concerns to the exodus of youths to the foreign countries at a time when the new generation should lead the business and enterprises.
