Today’s foreign currency exchange rates



KATHMANDU: Nepal Rastra Bank has set the foreign exchange rates for Saturday, showing a continued rise in the value of the US dollar.

In addition to the dollar, the values of other major currencies, including the European Euro, UK Pound Sterling, Swiss Franc, Australian Dollar, Canadian Dollar, Singapore Dollar, Chinese Yuan, Saudi Arabian Riyal, Qatari Riyal, UAE Dirham, Malaysian Ringgit, Swedish Krona, Danish Krona, Hong Kong Dollar, Kuwaiti Dinar, Bahraini Dinar, and Omani Rial, have also increased.

Conversely, the values of the Japanese Yen and South Korean Won have decreased.

According to the official rates, the buying rate for one US dollar is Rs 136.13, while the selling rate is Rs 136.73.

The exchange rate for the European Euro is set at a buying rate of Rs 141.58 and a selling rate of Rs 142.21. For the UK Pound Sterling, the buying rate is Rs 170.58 and the selling rate is Rs 171.34, while the Swiss Franc is set at a buying rate of Rs 151.27 and a selling rate of Rs 151.94.

For other major currencies, the buying rate for one Australian Dollar is Rs 84.85, with a selling rate of Rs 85.22.

The Canadian Dollar’s buying rate is Rs 94.64 and selling rate Rs 95.06. The Singapore Dollar has a buying rate of Rs 100.23 and a selling rate of Rs 100.67.

The Chinese Yuan is valued at Rs 18.65 for buying and Rs 18.73 for selling, while the Saudi Arabian Riyal’s buying rate is Rs 36.25 and selling rate is Rs 36.41.

The Qatari Riyal’s buying rate is Rs 37.35, with a selling rate of Rs 37.52, and the UAE Dirham is set at Rs 37.06 for buying and Rs 37.23 for selling.

The Malaysian Ringgit stands at Rs 30.46 for buying and Rs 30.60 for selling.

Meanwhile, the Swedish Krona is valued at Rs 12.31 for buying and Rs 12.36 for selling, while the Danish Krona’s buying rate is Rs 18.98 and the selling rate is Rs 19.06.

The Hong Kong Dollar is set at a buying rate of Rs 17.53 and selling rate of Rs 17.60.

The Kuwaiti Dinar has a buying rate of Rs 441.68 and a selling rate of Rs 443.63, and the Bahraini Dinar is valued at Rs 360.75 for buying and Rs 362.34 for selling.

Additionally, the Indian Rupee is set at Rs 160 for buying and Rs 160.15 for selling.

For the Japanese Yen, the buying rate for 10 Yen is Rs 8.64, with a selling rate of Rs 8.68.

The South Korean Won’s buying rate for 100 Won is Rs 9.29, with a selling rate of Rs 9.33.

Additionally, the Thai Baht has a buying rate of Rs 3.98 and a selling rate of Rs 4.00.

These exchange rates highlight the continued fluctuations in global currency values and provide essential information for individuals and businesses involved in foreign exchange transactions.
