RoK envoy calls on Forest Minister



KATHMANDU: Ambassador of the Republic of Korea to Nepal, Park Tae-Young, on Thursday paid a courtesy call on Minister for Forest and Environment, Ain Bahadur Shahi Thakuri.

During the meeting at the Ministry, the two discussed matters relating to the bilateral relations that were formally established in 1974 AD, adding that such meetings would contribute to further strengthening such ties.

The Minister stated that Nepal in the recent COP 29 raised the matter of carbon trade and this agenda had become successful. Stating that Nepal gets support from South Korea in the area of development, the Minister hoped for the continuity of such cooperation in the future, too.
