Gold price down by Rs 300 per tola today

KATHMANDU: The prices of gold and silver have declined today.

According to the Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers Federation, the price of gold, which had risen by Rs 900 per tola on Wednesday, has dropped by Rs 300 per tola today. Silver has also become cheaper.

Today, the price of gold has been set at Rs 149,300 per tola, down from Rs 149,600 yesterday.

Last Monday, the price of gold had fallen by Rs 15,900 per tola, followed by a further decline of Rs 2,600 on Tuesday.

Silver has also seen a decrease today, with its price dropping by Rs 30 per tola.

The current price of silver is Rs 1,800 per tola, down from Rs 1,830 yesterday.

This week, both gold and silver have experienced significant drops following the government’s reduction of customs duties.
