KATHMANDU: The Weather Forecasting Division has stated that westerly winds are currently exerting a partial influence on the country, alongside local winds affecting the hilly regions.
According to the Division, the weather in the hilly areas is mostly clear, while the rest of the country is experiencing some variations.
This afternoon, the forecast predicts partly cloudy conditions in the hilly areas and across the country.
Light rain, accompanied by thunder and lightning, may occur at one or two locations in the hilly areas.
Tonight, the weather is expected to remain mostly clear in the hilly regions, with partly cloudy skies in other parts of the country.
There is a chance of light rain, along with thunder and lightning, at a few locations in the hilly areas of the Koshi and Gandaki provinces.
