Floods and inundation make Kathmandu Valley chaotic

KATHMANDU: Life in the Kathmandu Valley has been severely disrupted by continuous rain over the past two days.

In Kathmandu, Lalitpur, and Bhaktapur, some individuals have lost their lives due to floods and landslides, with many still missing.

Hundreds of settlements across these three districts have been inundated, leaving numerous citizens trapped in the floodwaters. Rescue workers are tirelessly working to assist those in need.

Rivers and streams, including the Bagmati, Bishnumati, Manohara, and Dhobikhola, have overflowed since yesterday.
