KATHMANDU: The Bhotekoshi River, flowing under the Araniko Highway, has washed away the Larcha Bridge in Sindhupalchok.

The bridge, located in Bhotekoshi Rural Municipality, collapsed on Saturday morning, cutting off access to Tatopani.

With the water level of the Bhotekoshi River continuing to rise, nearby areas including Tatopani and Bahrabise, along with other coastal regions, remain at high risk of flooding.
