Four missing while waiting for rescue in Nakkhu River flood



KATHMANDU: Four people have been swept away by the flood in the Nakkhu River in Lalitpur.

They were swept away by the Nakhkhu River near Kantipur Colony in Lalitpur Metropolitan City-14 Nakhipot.

They had been living in makeshift shelters by the riverbank and had been waiting for rescue for a long time. As the rescue did not arrive on time, they were swept away by the flood.

Deputy Superintendent of Armed Police Shailendra Thapa has informed that two men, a woman and a child are missing due to the flood.
