Central security committee meeting called for flood response



KATHMANDU: Home Minister Ramesh Akhtar has called a Central Security Committee meeting at 10:30 am at the Ministry of Home Affairs.

The meeting is called to plan relief and rescue efforts after two days of heavy rains.

The heads of all four security agencies will attend. The minister has warned the public to stay safe, as floods and landslides remain a risk due to continuous rainfall.
