PM Oli meets Italian football legend Gianluigi Buffon



KATHMANDU: Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli met former Italian national football team captain and legendary goalkeeper Gianluigi Buffon on Monday.

Buffon, who is the chief guest at the closing ceremony of the third KP Oli Cup Football Championship, organized by the National Youth Association Nepal (affiliated with UML), visited the Prime Minister’s official residence in Baluwatar.

The meeting was attended by Oli’s wife Radhika Shakya, Chief Advisor to the Prime Minister Bishnu Prasad Rimal, Chief Secretary Ek Narayan Aryal, All Nepal Football Association (ANFA) President Pankaj Bikram Nembang, National Youth Association Nepal President Kshitij Thebe, and Buffon’s family members.

The final of the KP Oli Cup is set to conclude on Monday evening at Dashrath Stadium, with Tribhuvan Army Club and Machhindra Club competing for the title.
