KATHMANDU: The price of gold has hit an all-time high today.
According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Traders, the price of gold has been set at NPR 153,100 per tola today (Wednesday).
This marks an increase from August 21, when gold prices had dropped to NPR 153,000.
Yesterday (Tuesday), gold was priced at NPR 152,300 per tola, showing a rise of NPR 800 today.
In contrast, the price of silver has remained stable at NPR 1,855 per tola today, up slightly from NPR 1,850 yesterday.
