According to Ramesh Rai, Programme Coordinator of the Forum, the marathon is anticipated to make a significant impact on Red Panda conservation efforts.

The route will traverse the Pathibhara area, which is a crucial habitat for the Red Panda.

The marathon course will start and end at Phungling Bazar, covering a 24-kilometer uphill stretch to Pathibhara shrine and returning another 24 kilometers to Phungling Bazar.
