RSP calls CC meeting to discuss General Secretary’s report

KATHMANDU: The ruling Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) has called a central committee (CC) meeting to discuss the review report of the party’s General Secretary.

According to the party, the meeting will be held on July 3 at the party’s central office in Vanasthali, Kathmandu.

The agenda includes discussion of the party General Secretary Dr. Mukul Dhakal’s review report.

Recently, the politics within RSP intensified following the report presented by Dr. Dhakal, who has urged RSP Chairman Rabi Lamichhane to make the report public.

Following a significant setback in the Ilam by-elections, the RSP had dispatched Dr. Dhakal on a comprehensive internal review tour.

After engaging with over 2079 citizens across 38 districts, Dhakal returned to Kathmandu and submitted his findings to Chairman Lamichhane the following day, warning of a potential party crisis.
