Government targets to welcome Rs 1.6 million tourists in FY 2024/25



KATHMANDU: The government has set a target to welcome 1.6 million tourists in the fiscal year 2024/25.

Unveiling the budget, Finance Minister Barsa Man Pun shared this goal.

Additionally, the government announced that public land in mid-hill areas will be leased for hotel operations.

The government has allocated Rs 11.91 billion for the tourism sector in the upcoming fiscal year’s budget.
