33% of women in Nepal own property



KATHMANDU: A total of 33 percent of women in Nepal currently own houses and land.

Finance Minister Barsa Man Pun provided this information during the parliament meeting while unveiling the budget for the fiscal year 2024/25.

Additionally, Finance Minister Pun announced that 24,152 people from isolated and undeveloped regions have joined the civil service.
