West Indies ‘A’ sets 161-run target for Nepal in second T20 match



KATHMANDU: West Indies ‘A’ has set a target of 161 runs for Nepal in the second T20 match played at TU International Cricket Ground on Sunday.

Winning the toss, the visiting team elected to bat first, inviting Nepal to bowl.

In the allotted 20 overs, West Indies ‘A’ managed to score 160 runs while losing seven wickets.

Sagar Dhakal and Kushal Bhurtel took two wickets each for Nepal, while Sompal Kami and Dipendra Singh Airee secured one wicket each for the team.

Andre Fletcher contributed 43 runs and Gudakesh Motie added 33 runs to West Indies ‘A’ total score.

Following their victorious stride in the inaugural match at the TU International Cricket Ground on Saturday, Nepal braces for another match with high spirits today.
