Nepal Investment Summit 2024 begins in Kathmandu



KATHMANDU: The 3rd Nepal Investment Summit 2024 has begun in Kathmandu.

Over 1,600 individuals are participating their participation in the third Nepal Investment Summit.

The Office of the Investment Board of Nepal has stated that invitations were extended to over 2,400 individuals.

Participants from 55 countries are attending the Summit, with 385 representing Nepal.

China is prominently representing with 265 participants, followed by 143 from India, 33 from the US, 28 from Japan, 14 from the UK, 13 from Bangladesh and the UAE respectively, and 10 from Germany.

Additionally, nine participants each from South Korea, Australia, and Malaysia, eight from Pakistan, six from Singapore, and five each from Qatar and Ghana are also participating in the Summit.

Representatives from Saudi Arabia, France, and Bahrain will be four each, while three participants each are participating from Switzerland, Finland, Russia, Austria, Sri Lanka, and Colombia.

The Summit will showcase a total of 150 projects across 23 stalls, with 19 projects specifically seeking letters of intent in preparation for the event.

The first day will include an opening session followed by two major sessions, while the second and final day will feature 11 parallel sessions.
