KATHMANDU: The Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) has picked Milan Limbu as party’s candidate for by-election in Ilam-2.

Limbu was finalized as the party candidate after a primary election held earlier today, according to Mukul Dhakal, spokesperson of RSP.

“Of the six candidates recommended for the by-election, five supported Limbu to be the party’s candidate for the upcoming by-election in Ilam-2,” said Dhakal.

Limbu had earlier quit the CPN (Maoist Center) and announced his candidacy independently.
