Cloudy weather with rainfall to persist for some more days



KATHMANDU: Continuous rainfall is occurring in Bagmati, Koshi, and Gandaki provinces owing to the influence of the westerly wind.

According to the Meteorological Forecasting Division, Department of Hydrology and Meteorology, cloudy weather accompanied by rainfall is expected to persist throughout the country for several days.

Govinda Kumar Jha, a meteorologist at the department, mentioned that the westerly wind, local wind patterns, and moisture-laden winds from the Arabian Sea are currently affecting the weather in Nepal.

“The weather is partly to generally cloudy across the country, including in the Kathmandu Valley at present. This pattern is projected to continue for several days,” he added.
