By-election Update : Final voter list to be published on April 4



KATHMANDU: The Election Commission (EC) has announced that the final voter list for the upcoming by-elections will be published on April 4.

The by-elections for a House of Representatives member from Ilam-2 and a Provincial Assembly member from Bajhang-1 (1) are scheduled for April 27.

According to EC spokesperson Shaligram Paudel, the approved schedule includes the publication of an updated voter list on the commission’s website on March 1.

During the period from March 12 to March 18, voters can review the list and report any errors, request the removal of deceased individuals or citizens who have renounced citizenship, and provide information for corrections.

Citizens can submit requests, information, and objections to the Election Office or Ward Office during this period.

After a legal review, the final voter list will be updated and published on April 4.
