PM Cup Cricket: Two matches scheduled for today



KATHMANDU: Two matches are set to unfold today in the Prime Minister’s Cup men’s one-day national cricket tournament.

The first match will feature a clash between Karnali Province and Tribhuvan Army Club, commencing at 9:30 am at the TU Cricket Ground in Kirtipur, Kathmandu.

In the ongoing competition, Karnali Province, with 6 points from 7 matches, currently holds the seventh position on the table.

Tribhuvan Army has secured 8 points from 6 games, placing them in the fourth position.

Simultaneously, at 9:30 am on the Mulpani Cricket Ground, Lumbini Province and Madhesh Province will go head-to-head.

Lumbini Province, having played 6 matches in the tournament, sits at the ninth position with 2 points, while Karnali Province is in the third position with 10 points from 8 matches.

Nepali Police Club dominates the standings with 12 points from 6 matches, holding the top position.

Bagmati Province follows closely in second place, having played 9 matches and accumulated 12 points.

Conversely, Koshi Province, having lost all 8 matches, finds itself at the bottom of the table with no points.
