Earthquake jolts Dolakha



KATHMANDU: Dolakha was the epicenter of a 4.5 magnitude earthquake that occurred last night at 11:30 pm, according to the National Earthquake Measurement and Research Center. The epicenter was located near Lamidanda.

“This type of earthquake is typically not felt beyond the immediate vicinity of the epicenter,” said senior seismologist Lok Bijay Adhikari.

He added, “This earthquake is not of the kind that typically causes damage.”
