KATHMANDU: Sayyid Badr bin Hamad bin Hamood Albusaidi, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Oman, returned home today after completing a two-day official visit to Nepal.
Foreign Minister Albusaidi arrived in Kathmandu on Monday at the invitation of Nepal’s Foreign Minister, Dr. Arju Rana Deuba.
During his visit, the two ministers held a bilateral meeting where they discussed various issues of mutual interest, the expansion of bilateral relations, and common concerns between Nepal and Oman, according to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Key topics of discussion included air connectivity, labor issues, investment, tourism, diplomatic exchanges, and other forms of cooperation and coordination between the two countries.
While in Kathmandu, Foreign Minister Albusaidi also paid courtesy calls on President Ramchandra Paudel and Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli.
