Unified Socialist holding Secretariat meeting



KATHMANDU: The Secretariat meeting of the Unified Socialist Party is taking place this afternoon at the party’s central office, Aloknagar.

The agenda primarily focuses on finalizing key aspects for the upcoming general convention.

Standing Committee member Alok Rayamajhi stated that the meeting will discuss political strategies, socialist programs, legislative frameworks, and organizational documents slated for presentation at the convention scheduled for July 10 onwards in Kathmandu.

Among the critical tasks are reviewing preparations for the 10th General Convention, approving various documents and delegate lists, and assessing the progress of subordinate committees.

The Convention, set to take place at the Pragya Bhawan in Kamaladi, Kathmandu, will see the election of new leadership in accordance with the party’s policies and programs.

In a parallel effort, the party had planned to mobilize approximately two hundred volunteers for the convention.
