Chinese Vice Minister pays courtesy call on PM Dahal



KATHMANDU: Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ welcomed Sun Haiyan, Vice Minister of the International Liaison Department of the Communist Party of China, during a courtesy call at the official residence in Baluwatar this morning.

The meeting, held as part of Vice Minister Sun’s four-day official visit to Nepal at the invitation of the CPN (Maoist Centre), focused on various bilateral issues concerning the welfare and interests of both nations.

Foreign Affairs Advisor to PM Dahal, Rupak Sapkota, stated that the discussions encompassed a range of topics related to the mutual benefits and interests of both China and Nepal.

Vice Minister Sun Haiyan is expected to engage in high-level political meetings throughout her stay in Nepal, further strengthening the ties between the two countries.
