30 police personnel absent without reporting

KATHMANDU: The Police Headquarters has issued a notice regarding 30 police personnel who have been missing for an extended period without any updates.

On Thursday, the Legal Branch of the Police Headquarters issued a warning, stating that those officers must report within a week, or they will be removed from service.

According to the notice, 30 police personnel have been absent voluntarily for nearly three months.

The policemen will have an opportunity to clear their names if they report on time, according to the notice.

However, if they fail to do so, they will be dismissed from service under clause (Cha) of sub-rule 1 of rule 113 of the Police Regulations 2071.
