Steel Truss bridge over Tila River



JUMLA: A motorable steel truss bridge has been constructed over the Tila River located in Tila Rural Municipality-1.

After the construction of the bridge, ward nos 6, 7, 8 and 9 of the Municipality have been connected to the road network.

Ward Chair of Tila-6 Janga Bahadur Rokaya said that after the operation of the bridge 13 villages of the rural municipality have been connected to the national road network.

It will be easy to transport daily consumables as well.

Roads in the rural areas of ward had become useless for lack of bridge over the river.

Passenger vehicles are no longer compelled to take the dangerous journey.

After the bridge came into operation transportation services will reach the village.

Motilal Rokaya, Chair of Tila Rural Municipality shared that this will be a huge relief for the local residents.

The road division office said that the bridge was constructed at the cost of Rs 140 million. The bridge is eight meters wide and
