Passenger bus plunges into Saptakoshi river 



BIRATNAGAR: A passenger bus has plunged into the Saptakoshi river from the Koshi barrage.

Eyewitness Umesh Mehta reported that the bus was traveling from Biratnagar to Udaipur’s Gaighat when the incident occurred moments ago.

Chief District Officer of Sunsari, Ram Chandra Tiwari, confirmed that the bus has fallen into the river and stated, “Information has been received that the bus has fallen. We are going to the scene. Nothing more has been revealed.”

Further details about the incident have yet to emerge.
