NEPSE index drops 1.30 percent as trading volume reaches Rs. 4.84 billion

KATHMANDU: The NEPSE Index on Thursday experienced a drop of 32.81 points (1.30%), finishing at 2,486.76 after gaining 58.93 points in the previous session.

Throughout the day, the index fluctuated, starting at 2,519.04 points, hitting an intraday low of 2,479.65, and briefly reaching a peak of 2,541.69 before closing.

During today’s trading, 322 stocks were exchanged across 65,258 transactions, resulting in a total volume of 13,691,596 shares and a turnover of Rs. 4.84 billion.

The market capitalization stood at Rs. 3.95 trillion, with the float market capitalization at Rs. 1.39 trillion.
