KATHMANDU: A restaurant owner and pool house operator was found murdered in Buddhanagar, Kathmandu.

According to SP Navaraj Adhikari, spokesperson for the District Police Complex Kathmandu, 40-year-old Rupak Bantawa was discovered dead with injuries on the sofa in the dining room at around 1:40 a.m. last night.

Bantawa ran ‘The Time Pass Snooker and Snack House’ on the ground floor of his two-story home located in the Bagmati Corridor slums, 10 Shankhamul, Kathmandu Metropolitan City.

The motive behind the crime and the identity of the perpetrator remain unclear.

The police have launched an investigation.
