CPN (Maoist Center) withdraws support from Koshi provincial government



KATHMANDU: The CPN (Maoist Center) has officially withdrawn its support from the Koshi provincial government.

Following an agreement between the Nepali Congress and CPN-UML to form new governments at both central and provincial levels, all Maoist Center ministers resigned from their posts on Friday.

The resigning ministers include Ganesh Uprety, Minister for Physical Development; Rajendra Karki, Health Minister; Narayan Burjha Magar, Tourism Minister; and Bandana Jangada, State Minister for Forest and Environment.

Despite these resignations, Chief Minister Hikmat Karki, who represents UML, will continue to lead the government with the support of the Nepali Congress.
