Meeting of task force on TRC taking place today



KATHMANDU: The meeting of the task force on Transitional Justice (TRC) is taking place today.

The meeting will take place at 9:30 am at the Ministry of Home Affairs in Singha Durbar.

Mahesh Bataurla, a member of the task force, stated that the meeting will focus on reaching an agreement on the unresolved issues in the TRC Bill.

The task force members include Home Minister Ramesh Lekhak from the Nepali Congress (NC), Mahesh Bartaula from CPN-UML, and Janardan Sharma from the Maoist Center.

Previously, major political parties had agreed to finalize the TRC Bill and advance the peace process through consensus.
